Artist Statement
Often my artworks originate as a spontaneous emotional release; however I have always been inspired by the surroundings around me and have allowed myself to use emotions as a foundation to evolve my creativity.
In all these years of art making, I am always inspired to release my emotions creatively as a way to explore my inner feelings. My art sometimes feels like an escape. It comes about as an act of desperation. I believed that my art work is an extension of myself to express and explain my life journal.
Human forms have always fascinated me. I have been drawn to the face and form as the imagery that most deeply allows me to explore myself, others, society and transcend meaning. My works often depict a range of emotional content that stipulated intentional distortion and manipulation of the form.

Expressions
Much of my works revolve around with human forms. I am always fascinated by the body flow as well as the expression created by people. Hence below are some photos that are taken with the help of my students during my practicum.
